Lappet Moth

Arguda sp.

Description:

It looks just like a dry leaf complete with midrib and venation patterns.

Habitat:

Hanging from the door of the cottage I rented at Kolakham Village, a remote , hilly and forested area. The light on the porch was the magnet that drew hordes of moths to it.

Notes:

http://www.jpmoth.org/~dmoth/Digital_Mot... Mine looks a lot like Arguda vinata
