Suburban yard.

This beautiful little wasp was crawling on the side of the building.

Updated ID! Thanks again Eric! Bob made short work of finding the ID for this wasp. Not very many images of this one and no info on the Bugguide page.

I will do that. I do have an account on Bugguide. Do you think I need to crop these pictures more? I had someone on Bugguide suggest that one of my submissions wasn't getting looked at because it wasn't cropped enough.

It is indeed an ichneumon wasp, but one I don't recognize. Posting over at Bugguide in the Ichneumonidae family will generate a response from Bob Carlson, the resident ichneumon expert there.
