Description:

This individual was brown and greenish-yellow, with a striped pattern, rather than the banding that is more typical of Kingsnakes, and was approximately 3ft/1m in length.

Habitat:

Found crossing a busy pedestrian path at a suburban reservoir, going from the lake side of path to sage scrub habitat.
