Hi Paul, glad that you like my moth photographs. For some details of my light trap etc have a look at my moth blog at http://mothsofcalgary.blogspot.ca/. There is a link to an article that I have on the Entomological Society of Canada about backyard mothing and to the B&B I stay in where I have recorded a lot of Hawk Moths and a few Silkmoths.
