Description:

The harlequin duck is one of the most beautiful ducks in America. They are a small sea duck that has a slate blue and black color. It also has buff on its head and under body. It also has bold white stripes along eyes and neck.

Habitat:

Ocean tidal areas and fast moving cold streams in North Western North America.

I love these ducks! In the winter, we always look for them along the Sea Wall in Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC
