The tree species Sorbus americana is commonly known as the American Mountain-ash. It is a relatively small (height 12 meters / 40 feet) deciduous perennial tree, native to eastern northern North America.

Habitat:

This tree is unative to the area. But is native to areas near Lake Huron and Lake Erie.
