Glad to have been of some help, Viv. When I was in Thailand last year, I noticed a lot of small plants that I knew from Guyana; it seems that many of them are pantropical.

Hi Emilie .. I have found this plant mentioned in a blog from Singapore. The leaves and form look identical to your suggestion also so I will edit the Spotting. Thank you!

Hi Emilie I thought the flower looked like Oxalis . The stems are quite woody at the base of the plant. I will have to do some more research. I've just had a look at some images of your suggestion and the leaf, flower and habit of the plant look exactly the same. This plant is growing on a roadside verge running parallel with the coast. I will have a look while I'm out on my walks to see if I can find it anywhere else. Thank you!

This is definitely an Oxalis sp., but I'm not sure about the species. Looks like Oxalis barrelieri from French Guyana, but does it grow in Thailand also?
