Description:

Wren species with a loud voice. Brown with a light brown belly and flanks light colored throat and breast. Black with white stripes on back.Barring on parts of wings and tail. They have a dark crown with a light line over the eyes. Most of the time these can be heard and not seen but during breeding season the boldly come out on the tips of reeds calling loudly.

Habitat:

Can be found in tall sedges and grasses at waters edge and in marshes
