Description:

Black-striped triggerfish ~ 9 inches long.

Habitat:

Tropical nearshore waters.

Notes:

Spotted in about three feet of water just west of Mokuleia Army Beach. Also known as Back-bar Triggerfish and often mistaken for the Reef Triggerfish, Rhinecanthus rectangulus.
