Thorunna daniellae
A dorid nudibranch with a creamy white dorsum and a mantle with a purple submarginal line. Its rhinophores, transparent at the base, are lamellated and are tinged in a brownish or reddish hue. The gills are of the same coloring as its rhinophores.
Spotted this brightly attractive critter in 19m of water at the Marissa 1 dive site, off the western coast of Samal Island, Philippines. It was very active, crawling at a fast clip over bits of rock and dead coral.
