Approximately 18mm long, long green abdomen, clear wings, very busy antennae, long back legs, hump-back thorax of pale green.

Habitat:

Suburban parkland eucalyptus.

This is a midge, (Diptera) a non biting mosquito on steroids.
I love the color. It seems like some species need to camouflage and others don't bother.
