No worries, glad you got it figured out! I was about to say somebody has the same cardinal without the black as you do, but I just went to your page and I see it's the same guy, glad he is still around!

Hi Marshall, it's obvious you know the ID since you put it in the description. Instead of putting it in the description, please edit your spotting and put in the common name. Then doing a google search with the common name will give you the scientific name, then you can put that in the appropriate box. Thanks!
