The Barred Owl is a medium-sized grey-brown owl with a large, rounded head with no ear-tufts, and streaked with white horizontal barring on the chest and vertical barring on the belly. Looks like it is wearing a neck scarf.

Okefenokee swamp trail, Stephen C Foster State Park, Fargo, GA
