Red Tulip

One of the reasons I love photography is that it leads me to stop and appreciate Nature's small wonders. The spring wonders currently abounding here in Victoria can bring a smile to any day if you only let them :)

"Stop and smell the roses" is a phrase I believe in wholeheartedly and try to live by every day... but it can be hard to do with the clutter of everyday responsibilities (and thesis work!). Photography reminds me to stop, breathe, and reconnect with Nature's beauty. Photos: Red Tulips - Victoria, BC - March 31, 2015
