Yellow Soldier Beetle

Description:

This Solder Beetle has its abdomen with black and yellow strips, when fly, mimics a wasp. Its wing-covers are brick-yellow/red in colour, which mimics a Lycid Beetle. Most predators will avoid either wasp or Lycid.
