Northern Dusky Salamander

Description:

A medium sized salamander that doesn't usually exceed 5 inches in length, the Northern Dusky Salamander is extremely variable, coming in colors of gray, brown, red, and orange stripes and blotches on a dark brown background. These small salamanders are common in the small creeks and seeps in which they inhabit.
