Description:

Photo take at -35 ft on a coral reef near the coast, Small sea fans, very much smaller than other members of the genus they are pale in colour, commonly white but with slight tints of mauve, branching pattern is of several ascending branches from which secondary branches come off in feather-like, or pinnate fashion.

Habitat:

Found on shallow waters on the Caribbean sea, from Florida to North Brazil.
