Description:

This dropwing dragonfly has orange veins in the wings, which are also orange tinged near the body, the abdomen is orange/yellow with black and white markings. The male of this species has a red abdomen (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/144...).

Habitat:

Rivers, streams and pools in savanna/woodland

Notes:

Probably the most frequently seen dragonfly in Mlawula Nature Reserve.
