Yellow Honeyeater

Lichenostomus flavus

Description:

Uniformly olive-yellow above, lemon below. 16-18cm.

Habitat:

Found in forests, mangroves & gardens. This bird is very common in our area. I've seen so many lately playing, chasing each other through the trees. This one came & sat only a couple of metres away from me, checked me out & off he went with his friend :)
