The first picture is a 85ft tall hemlock about 3ft in diameter. It has very short needles and are bristly. It's fruit is a cone.It is also a coniferous tree. It is all by itself. provides a lot of shade because of its wide branches. Bark has rivulets.
It was either planted or not logged. by itself. on a lawn. and i think it is one of the trees that grows very fast and very big.
