Description:

Plants with hirsute leaves shaped like that of the radish arranged in rosettes, growing low on the ground and in clusters. Flowers are bright yellow with pale petal tips and dark centres.

Habitat:

Growing on grassy verge by the road. Also seen in open grass lands. Native to South Africa - Cape Province

Notes:

considered a noxious weed. Spreads both vegetatively ( runners) and through seeds. Very attractive wild spring flowers.
