Description:

Large aromatic tree with broad, rounded crown of drooping branches. Height:70-100' Leaf:3-5" long and 1.5-2" wide. Elliptical. Short and pointed or rounded at base. Sawtoothed.

Habitat:

Commonly found in the higher elevations of the Appalachians.
