Eggs of predatory shield bug

Description:

A cluster of black eggs with eyelashes bristles around the operculum. I've seen these last season http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/876...

Habitat:

On the tip of an Acacia leaf.

Notes:

These would be laid near a good food source for the hatchlings. There has been considerable grazing of the leaves.
