@ Rian , I cant point on a link , I just based my ID on my Experience. My father used to have our own butterfly conservation garden and we bred every butterfly we can found around the country and Red or Scarlet birdwing is so common in our place. It foods on citrus right?
i don't really know how to identify caterpillars. but i'm open to suggestions. could you give a link that could help me id it as a red birdwing? :)
Hard to tell , (2nd instar) but the patterns on the head lead to a Red Birdwing.
Hello Rian. Please include this spotting and your other butterfly collection to the Butterflies in the Philippines mission (http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1555...). This would be a great addition to the mission. Thanks!
Papilio polymnestor occurs only in India and looks different . . .
