Canada Goose hybrid

Branta canadensis x Anser anser domesticus

Description:

This goose was hanging out with the Canada Geese, but it has much lighter coloring. I think it is probably a hybrid, most likely between a Canada Goose and a domestic goose.

Habitat:

Small lake in a local park

I would bet canada goose x domestic goose hybrid. I highly doubt it is a hybrid with a white-fronted goose, almost all the hybrids have an eye ring, white at the base of the bill, or an orange bill. This bird has none of that. Also don't think it's a hybrid with a snow goose because almost all of those crosses have a noticeable grin patch on the bill, which this bird doesn't look to have. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird_hybrid...

Wierd. Looks almost like a Greater White Fronted Goose and something else, but there's always a great chance of it being a domestic variety.
