Wow, the people on this site are great at I.D.s, but asking them to identify a bug by butt alone? That might be a stretch. :)
Not a roach, though.
I'm 99% sure.
I live in Florida, which of course makes me a roach wrangler/exterminator/expert.
Do you have any images of the whole organism? It is very hard to tell how it looks from just this one image. If this was an insect it belongs in the Arthropods category. :-)
