Description:

Small white bird with a black cap and throat, some gray and brown on the back. The bird's black eye shows distinctly in contrast to the white band around its head.

Habitat:

On the rocky shore of frozen Djupvatn Lake, on a high plateau above Flydal Valley, near Geirangerfjord, Norway.

Notes:

This white wagtail was foraging in the grass and gravel around the lake.
