Description:

The great "white" egret is a large white heron. Heavy yellow bill. Black legs and feet. This egret appears to be in breeding plumage because of the long plumes extending from the back, extending beyond the tail.

Habitat:

This great white egret was spotted in the marsh waters in Buccaneer State park in Waveland, Mississippi
