Bilimbi

Averrhoa bilimbi

Description:

These strange fruits are light yellow and grow from short branches close to the main stem. The flowers of this fruit are gorgeous.

Habitat:

In an organic garden run by a lady who has collected all kind of tree's and plants and flowers. Singapore , Kranji area close to wetland and mangroves.

Notes:

Very strange fruits, kind of hanging down the armpits of the tree. I could not believe the beautiful flowers that 'make' these fruits.
