Phoenicopterus roseus
This is the only Greater Flamingo in captivity in Australia, and it is also the oldest known Greater Flamingo. Its exact age is not known, but it was already a mature adult when it arrived at Adelaide Zoo somewhere between 1919 and 1933. (I had no idea flamingos live so long!!!) It has an age-related vision impairment, but knows its enclosure so well that it can navigate comfortably.
