Asian Giant Forest Scorpion

Heterometrus longimanus

Description:

I found this large scorpion today in the worst place possible, amongst a bunch of shoes and sandals outside the mess hall where everyone eats lunch. Anyone stepping out of the mess would have been bare-footed, luckily we got him moved before someone's day got ruined.

Habitat:

Found outside the mess hall of a small employee housing community in an Agroforestry plantation.

I believe it's a asian giant forest scorpion like my spotting. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/162...
It was bad enough finding it crossing my path wouldn't have fancied finding one near my shoes.
