Cockatoo

Cacatua galerita

Description:

The Sulphur-crested Cockatoo is a large white parrot. It has a dark grey-black bill, a distinctive sulphur-yellow crest and a yellow wash on the underside of the wings. These cockatoos are very noisy and hang about in a flock.

Habitat:

They are found in timbered areas and urban settlements.

Notes:

I couldn't get very close to these cockatoos, they were very frightened and would take off before I could get closer.
