Description:

Greyish brown to buffy yellow upperparts, often slightly darker on the back. White underparts, greyish white underneath the neck and chest.There is a paler crescent high on the throat that is more obvious in males. Horns only in males; rising from the top of the head with an even forward curve.(Smithers' mammals of southern africa a field guide. fourth edition)

Habitat:

Grassland with permanent watercourses.

Notes:

There was a herd brazing in the savanna, I took pictures to a young male, a female and a youngling as they were the closest
