Description:

This bird had a red eye, black head with whitish front and white on his tail. He had a grub in his beak. It is a honeyeater!! It looks like a Noisy Friarbird but there is also a Helmeted Friarbird.

Habitat:

Eucalypt forest and eats nectar, fruit, insects and other invertebrates and sometimes eggs or baby birds.

Helmet Friarbird & Silver-crowned are both northern species & do not have as much black on the head.
