We were sitting on a bench, in Waimangu volcanic valley, when that brown Clitarchus hookeri stick insect decided to pay me a visit...After we introduced to each other, he was moved back to the woods he came from :) I am a popular girl :)

Waimangu volcanic valley because of the hot stream and pools, is having a more temperate climate and there are insects and birds everywhere + we are a bit more experienced in noticing them around...At first I thought that he was an argosarchus horridus (I wish !), but it was this clitarchus...
