Maybe a Lesser Yellowleg? Probably not.
They don't always live up to their name. I've seen them in pairs or even trios. lol :)
Eye ring (hard to see on the photo) and rather brownish than greyish makes it more a Solitary Sandpiper even though it wasn't alone.
