Actias luna
This is my first spotting of a luna moth. One luna moth was spotted amongst leaves and gave it a blueish color and the other moth was on the butterfly garden netting and it looked very pale transparent green. It is a North American moth. It is also known as the Giant Silkworm Moth. Luna Moths have a wingspan of four and a half inches. They have a white body, pinkish legs, and huge pale green wings. The hindwings have eyespots and long tails. They fly, only at night, in Spring and early Summer. The female Luna Moth lays eggs on the bottom of Black Walnut leaves. She lays about 200 eggs in small groups.
These luna moths reside at a butterfly garden within the Brookgreen Gardens at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Thanks Maria. I haven't seen one either in the wild. That is why I love butterfly gardens.
Nice spotting. I haven't seen a live one in the wild yet and hope to some day. :)
