Description:

This dropwing dragonfly has orange veins in the wings, the base of the wings tinged orange, and a violet-red abdomen and thorax. The female has a yellow body.

Habitat:

Rivers, streams and pools in savanna/woodland

Notes:

Occasionally seen in the Siphiso valley and Mbuluzi gorge in Mlawula Nature Reserve.
