Description:

The blooms are yellow with three dark purple spots each surrounded by an orange outline, and are followed by a capsule that may bend the flower stalks to the ground.

Habitat:

This is a common iris in Australian gardens.

Notes:

This iris was not far from the other we watched open. There were various stages of opening on the whole bush of this iris plant however we didn't see any opening.
