Mother Tarantula is around 5-6 cm in size (without legs), with the legs, looks much bigger to nearly 10 cm. Baby Tarantulas are around 1 cm in size. This was an interesting find as we first saw the burrow during a night walk, the Mother Tarantula was sitting outside the entrance of the burrow and scurried into the burrow when we had out lights on her. When I looked into the burrow was pleasantly surprised to see lots of Baby Tarantulas inside the Burrow. I observed this Tarantula family for the next 3 days and in the early morning of the 3rd day, I saw a few Baby Tarantulas exploring the outside of the burrow but when I get closer, they all scurried back into the burrow. Later that morning I went back to check on them again, a few of them were already outside the burrow and making their way to their new life. Later that day, found the Mother Tarantula completely outside her burrow, hence was able to take full pictures of her including some close-ups.
Lives in burrows/holes. Found this family of Tarantulas around 20 meters behind the house of the Owner's house, on a small wall-side of the mountain trail. The property is part of the Mountain range of Talamanca.

We all do it :) I wish I could help with the ID, but there are pretty much no identifying characters on the mom!
Thanks, @Ashley for correcting. So stupid of me :p
What little cuties! I have removed this from the "Insects of Costa Rica" mission as spiders are not insects, they are arachnids :)
