Description:

Was feeding on jasmine at dusk, and came to this gate to rest.This species is found in many of the Asian countries including Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Thailand, southern China, Taiwan, Japan Indonesia and Java.This specimen was found in india.

Habitat:

Tropical regions to urban areas.

Notes:

At dawn and dusk many sphinx moths in the family Macroglossum feed on jasmine, and ixora.
