Hmmm, not sure where you're getting your info from J but S. cubensis also known as Psilocybe cubensis, is not endemic to Cuba. It is found there but also in many locations around the world, including US, Mexico, South America, subtropical Far East and Australia, though not the UK. Most Psilocybe species turn bluish with bruising, that's one way to ID them.

Okay, thats true, just threw me off when you said endemic to Cuba.
All I know is that the range doesn't extend to Europe. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

This is not the correct ID, as Stropharia cubensis is endemic to Cuba. Perhaps this is an inky cap species.
