A large bodied cranefly with feathered antennae and a black cross marking on yellow.

Habitat:

This insect was perched on a leaf and didn't move.

Thanks Aaron, it's definitely the best dressed crane fly of them all. Yep, no longer a mug, but now I wonder if you resemble a blue super hero?

This crane fly is much more beautiful than the species I'm used to seeing. Also, it's nice to see you really DON'T resemble a coffee mug. ;-)

Thanks Chun. The only other one I saw was this time last year. I love the perfect black cross on its back. Thanks for the profile pic compliment, I guess its a keeper.
