Thanks Brian. A monopod/pole (whatever) is on my list of things to get soon. I think that will improve my photos a lot. Thanks. Great shots.

Thank you Tukup. The heron was on the other side of a drainage ditch from me probably 45 feet. I'm using a light set up (Nikon D3400 300mm) with a mono pole, I rarely use a tripod - but thats just me.
