Found in Bendigo.

Since I'm a Yank, the first time I heard one of these screaming was...definitely memorable.

Hahaha well he is wee compared to me! And I agree about the contagious laughter! It's so startling at first, but you can't help but smile and laugh along with them. Kookaburras are such charming little birds :-)

Good spotting Meredith. Not that wee. Actually it's the biggest member of the kingfisher family. So glad it called out for you. When they laugh it's contagious - especially with those fuzzy heads.
