I noticed you didn't use a common name so I looked further at your spotting. I would have suggested Mussaenda philippica which has these common names Bangkok Rose, Virgin Tree, Buddha's Lamp or simply White Mussaenda http://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/sl... However I don't know enough to distinguish between the two, but I find much more info on M. philippica, e.g. on EOL.
