My first encounter at my new orangutan research site, I hope to have many more in the days to come! I found and followed a male for 1hr before we came across a female with a small baby. I was with the three of them for 6 hours before an early evening rain came, they made their nests and went to sleep. I'll be back tomorrow morning before they wake up for another follow day :)
