Unnamed spotting

Trachyderes succinctus

Description:

3 inches long. Glossy black body with white strip on back and orange and black striped antenna. Reddish feet

Habitat:

Caribbean islands.

Notes:

I only see these beetles during a certain time of year, where the wild mango trees start to bear fruit. The beetle in the picture is currently resting in one after a large fell up on mangoes.
