Description:

Small trees with dark trunk and limbs. The leaves are deeply lobed and a bit squarish. These were beginning to turn colors with the season.

Habitat:

Mixed Oak forest about 4,000 ft in elevation. This area burnt nearly 10 years ago and these trees are just starting to thrive again.
