Oh! My brother lives near there. Love it! San Gabriel has a number of bass families, even LM. I'm sticking with it. http://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoo... is a good I.D. page.

Was it in a smaller body of water than a lake? If so, it's probably a Guadalupe Bass. I should have asked you that. Sorry.
